# Exclude Specific Sections from Stage Progress

Timers unrelated to the overall progress (such as <mark style="color:purple;">**the purple-colored timers**</mark> below) can be excluded from the stage progress bar.

> * Setting the <mark style="color:purple;">**'first timer'**</mark> to 'DateTime mode' to start the stage timer automatically from a specific time and link it to the next timer.
> * Creating a <mark style="color:purple;">**'break timer'**</mark> for events or online classes."

## Exclude/Include Specific Sections from Overall Progress

To exclude a section from overall progress, click 'Out of overall' from the '⋮' menu of the section you want to exclude. To include it back in the overall progress, click 'Out of overall' again."
